Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 4 September 2026

These terms describe use of The Moral Story at the-moral-story.com. They cover reading the website, using its tools where available and sending material through its contact features. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use those features. Any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.

What the website provides

The Moral Story currently carries health and hospital-information articles, including cancer treatment topics, hospital preparation and orthopaedic care. The domain name should not lead readers to assume the present collection consists only of stories. Health information needs particular care because a general article cannot assess an individual's condition. The Moral Story is an independent publication, not a hospital, medical practice or patient-referral service. Content does not establish a clinician-patient relationship and is not diagnosis or personalised treatment advice.

Using the information responsibly

Use an article to prepare questions for a qualified clinician. Confirm a hospital's services, credentials, availability and costs directly. A list of hospitals or a description of a treatment does not determine the best option for a particular patient. Do not delay urgent care or change a treatment plan because of an article. Benefits, risks and suitability of a procedure depend on clinical assessment. Contact local emergency services for an emergency and a qualified clinician for individual medical decisions.

Your use of the website

You may read and link to publicly available pages for lawful purposes. Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with availability, distribute harmful files, impersonate another person or submit deceptive information. Do not use a contact form to send spam, threats or someone else’s private records. Automated activity must respect access controls and must not impair the service.

Content and intellectual property

Unless a page states a different licence, publication is not permission to republish an entire article, image collection or other protected work. Where the law permits quotation, use only what is justified, provide attribution and preserve the original context. Rights in third-party material remain with its owners. Permission requests and specific infringement concerns can be sent through the contact page.

Messages and contributions

Send material only if you have the right to share it. You give the site permission to store and review your message for the purpose of handling your enquiry; a private enquiry does not automatically become permission to publish it. Public comments or community contributions, where enabled, may be visible to other readers and may be moderated. Do not include confidential information in a public submission.

External providers and commercial content

A third-party website has its own terms and privacy practices. We do not control its availability, support or product performance. A link or advertisement does not make us the seller or agent for that provider. Any separate purchase, application, subscription or account relationship is between you and the relevant provider.

Availability and limitations

The website may be interrupted, corrected or changed. We cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, general informational content is provided without a guarantee that it will meet a particular purpose or produce a particular outcome. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer protections that the law does not permit us to exclude.

Privacy, changes and questions

Our Privacy Policy explains data handling and the Cookie and Cache Policy explains browser storage and caching. When these terms change, the revised page will carry a new update date. Questions about a particular article or these terms can be sent through Contact Us. Include the article URL, specific medical claim and an authoritative clinical or institutional source. Do not send patient records or identifying health details.
